A Delegation from Media Design Academy Berlin, Germany, Came to the Academy for Exchange And Investigation

On the afternoon of March 26th, a delegation from Berlin School of International Exchange and Design of Germany came to our university for exchange and investigation. Xu Yufa, Vice President of Shanghai Polytechnic University, Shen Fa, Dean of School of Art and Design, and Qu Lili, Deputy Director of the Office of International Exchange, carried out an exchange seminar with the visiting guests. Associate Professor Zou Tao Tao and Environment Design teacher Liu Digong accompanied the guests.

At the meeting, Vice President Xu Yufa welcomed the German Berlin Media Design School to carry out exchanges and cooperation, the school will strongly support both sides to further develop cooperation in the School of International Exchange and other modes of international exchanges, put forward a series of constructive views on the mode of cooperation and exchange, recognized and appreciated by the German side.

Dean Shen Fa briefly introduced the basic situation of the school to the visiting guests, and emphasized the teaching mode of all focusing on talent cultivation, and all focusing on the construction of characteristics as the fundamental task. By introducing the excellent works and cases of the five majors of the school, Dean Shen pointed out that, with the advantage of the industrial environment of the Yangtze River Delta Region, each major course is implanted into enterprises for co-teaching, in-depth development of industry-teaching fusion, and promote the integration of production, teaching, learning, research and application to deepen the new mode of talent cultivation.

The German school manager, Mr. Canon Lu, mainly introduced the curriculum and content of the school's core specialties, with artificial intelligence as the perspective, innovative talent cultivation mode, and the two sides reached a preliminary intention on exchange and cooperation.
