Visual Communication Design focuses on the way of communication between people and information and the expression of visual language in a multi-media Environment Design, and is oriented to the development of Art and Science Integration and Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Innovation, and takes the visual image design of brand, packaging system design and information system design as its main features. With the development of integration of arts and sciences and interdisciplinary synergistic innovation as the orientation, and with brand visual image design, packaging system design and information system design as the main features, the program is based on the strategic goal of Shanghai's Four Brands and serves the brand construction and design planning in Shanghai, the Yangtze River Delta and even the whole country.

Training goal

Visual Communication Design takes the demand of enterprise brand as its orientation, the visual design of commodities as its direction, and the teaching mode of industry-academia linkage work system as its center, which is based on Shanghai and serves the Yangtze River Delta and even the national brand design. Through the study and practice of brand visual image design, packaging system design, commercial advertisement system design and other professional knowledge, the program aims to cultivate high-quality talents who can use visual design to communicate and promote commodity information, master the application of professional knowledge and methods of Visual Communication Design, and become highly qualified talents with the ability of sustainable development and innovation.
